We are really pleased to be welcoming back our Middleton Grange community for the new school year. We look forward to seeing you all soon. A warm welcome to our new students and their whānau and to our new staff to the school. We hope and pray that you will all feel very much at home soon.
Please be assured that we have appropriate health and safety plans in place for Covid-19 under the RED setting of the COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF) and that our school is a safe environment to be in, however we do need your support and co-operation with this too.
Part of the impact of being in the RED setting of the CPF is that we have had to modify some planned events, reschedule others, and unfortunately cancel some activities too. Please find below some of these details for this term to date and also some other important information. Further details will follow in due course.
A reminder that under the RED setting, there are additional health and safety measures to follow at school, including compulsory mask wearing for all staff, students, and visitors. Please refer to the email sent out on Wednesday 26 January for details. In addition, face masks are now mandatory on buses for all passengers who are Year 4 and above except for those who have a medical reason for an exemption.
Note
If you are sick – stay home and get tested. If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, or are waiting for any Covid-19 test results – stay home. Call your doctor, or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice about getting tested.
