Yesterday, 7 May 2020, the Prime Minister announced what Alert Level 2 will look like when we move to it. She advised that in Alert Level 2 schools will be open as they are safe environments for children, young people and staff, and that additional public health control measures are in place to prevent the spread of disease and to support contact tracing.
The Prime Minister also advised that schools will not re-open mid-week, whenever the decision is made, but at the beginning of the following week. Therefore, if the decision to move to Alert Level 2 is made during the week 11-15 May 2020, then our school will re-open for ALL students on Monday, 18 May 2020.
In the meantime, students will continue with remote/online learning until we return to school under Alert Level 2.
