This year’s Year 10 Food and Nutrition continued the MGS traditional (of at least 22 years) of inviting New Entrants to lunch. They were matched with a 5 yr old, visited them to find out what food they liked and then made them an invitation to come for a picnic lunch in G106 next to the Foods Room.
Pupils were in groups of 4 and prepared food for young ones. Tables and chairs were removed and picnic tablecloths laid on the floor. Lots of excitement brewed beforehand and on the day, from both 5 yr olds and the 15 yr olds. Well done, Y10, a great success.
