The Primary Schools’ Chess Competition was held in Halswell on 27th June. Middleton Grange had two teams entered. We had a great time, and most of our players won some of their matches.
I enjoyed playing so many people from different schools in Christchurch. It was good to learn more about how to ‘checkmate’ people, and to learn some new moves that I can do.
Our coaches are Mr Goddard and Mr Harrington.
